The Southern Soigne experience is an elaborate multi course meal. Settle in for a dining experience featuring the cuisine of Chef Zacchaeus Golden. Using his years of training received in some of America’s top restaurants such as the French Laundry, Inn at Little Washington and Coi. Dinning with us is a journey through a series of superbly executed and deeply delicious dishes. Inspired by generations of recipes and French technique, courses change to reflect product in season. Chef's Tasting Menu

  • Smoked gulf tuna tonnato, spring vegetable mixed spicy greens salad, crisps.
  • Green bean tartare, charred tomato vinaigrette, quail yolk.
  • Chicken shawarma, baby spring mix, strawberries, candied sunflower seeds, crispy parmesan, honey balsamic vin.
  • Rabbit pork cheek terrine, strawberry jam, pickled mustard seeds, arugula, bread lace.
  • Jumbo lump crab cake, whipped creole cream cheese frosting.
  • Salmon croquette, smoked oyster rice, corn foam.

The Restaurant

A fine dining experience

Located in the Farish Street historic district, Jackson MS. Inside of a beautiful space that also functions as an art gallery, built in the late 1800s and then relocated to its current location, in the mid 1900s. The space was converted into a restaurant in 2021 by Chef Zacchaeus Golden.

The restaurant is divided into two sides. One side offering a daily changing three-course meal. The other will host a chef’s choice tasting menu experience ranging from seven to thirteen courses. The Chef's creations arrive at one of three intimate tables as if served by a private Chef.

We have dinner services Wednesday-Saturday starting at 5:00pm. Our tasting menu guest are asked to arrive at 6:00pm to allow them self’s time to view the several different artists we have on display throughout the building. Chef’s tasting guest will be seated for dinner at 6:30pm. On Sunday we will be opening at 11am and closing at 3:30pm.

We serve between 7-12 courses during the evening for our chef’s tasting option. Your tasting menu experience takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, the table is yours for the night. We prepare dishes using the finest ingredients, and cook food we love eating with lots of bold flavor along the way.

All Bookings are available online, so please click the book now button to secure a table with us. We function as a cashless establishment. Due to Covid-19 you are required to wear a face mask unless sat at your table, please sanitize your hands regularly and be respectful of the measures.

All gust arriving for the three course meal will be sat immediately for service, which starts at 5:00pm for the three course meal.

The service charge for B.Y.O.B is $25, this covers up to four gust. Any party sizes larger than four will effect these rates.
